Using bounce light and reflection using Portrait Mode
Using the frame
Critique: In this image, I took the look of nature and an animals environment to create a sort of safe space for the animal. The work is organized so that the viewer has to look for the main subject following the sticks to the little lizard camouflaged in with the leafs and sticks to create some sort of pleasure for the viewer when finding the creature. I think what could help this image to match the theme of using a frame are possibly finding a leading line to make the viewers attention to the subject more direct but that is not what I was going for. This image was successful because it shows great background and it keeps the viewer looking at it for a longer amount of time.

"Dear Future"
Artist Statement: A clock can resemble the feeling of time pressure and everything that the human does depends on time so I chose an eye to represent that clock because we're so used to looking at the time to depict our future.
Composite Imagery Merging Photos
For this image, I used many other free images and took a picture of a person sitting in a chair and used an shutter speed of 200 and an FStop of 2.8 with an indoor strobe. In photoshop I changed the hue, saturation, and temperature so everything blended in more smoothly so that it gives it a surreal environment yet look somewhat real more than fake.
Photos That I Used
Using 3 Lenses Documentary Assignment
For this photo, I used a Canon Camera with a 17-50mm lens. Using an F stop of 2.8 to get the subject emphasized. My ISO stayed at 100 because I used a strobe. I used a shutter speed of about 1500 to capture good lighting and texture so once I lowered the saturation, the blacks and whites were easily depictable and stood out more.
For my photo, I used a Canon Camera with a 28mm lens with an FStop of 2.8 to get my subject in focus, shutter speed of 1600 to capture good shading once I lowered my saturation and an ISO of 125.
For the last photo, I used a Canon Camera with a 20mm lens capturing what's closer rather than the background. I used an FStop of 2.8 to get the person and the tree in focus, a shutter speed of 1200 to get the white lighting on the tree so once I lowered my saturation, the tree has a nice shade of white. And my ISO was at 100.
Print Making Photo
In the image I took a picture of my friend using a white background and a strobe light. The person is looking to the side as if something is there to give it more of a story rather than looking straight at the camera. This is unique because of what's surrounding him giving a more of a peaceful image like the flowers covering his upper body.
Abstract Photography
MOPA Assignment
The theme for this assignment was "exploration" so I decided to put my subject inside of a doorframe as like when you enter a door, you're going into a new environment. With a lower shutter speed I put a hot light behind the person and turned off the lights to capture a good outline of where the emphasis is.
Theme Development
Artist Statement - In the photo for the materials I used, I went into a studio room with a glass marble, and a hand held light set. Using a really low shutter speed of 6 seconds, I was able to capture the light movement in the background while keeping the marble stable. This art piece was intended to be abstract and the different shapes and sizes of lights creating different moods and color. When moving my images to Lightroom, all I did was adjust the contrast and exposure giving the color more vibrance while drawing your eyes to the marble aswell.
Balance and Hierarchy Assignment
This assignment helped me develop new ideas and perspectives from, to take more creative and professional photos. Using this marble, I was able to have a rock like subject that didn't move and I could move at my own will. It was really fun to shoot these photos and use different angles to enhance my understanding of balance and hierarchy.
